This program seeks to prepare students for work in a store. Students in this program learn to order and reorder stock and inspect it for damage, arrange merchandise on shelves to be visually pleasing, maintain inventory of stock and learn use of a cash register. They also learn customer service skills such as filling orders for a customer accurately while demonstrating appropriate social interaction. Students in this program go on field trips to purchase inventory and to assist in a store in the community.
