College credit and tuition awards are available to Tech Center students who complete a prescribed program of study and attain sufficient levels of success equivalent to that school’s accepted standards. Transferable credit is also available with minimal course registration fees at several colleges. The information below lists current articulation agreements with maximum credit to be awarded for the 2009-2010 school year. Please note that additional articulation agreements are currently under review and may be added to this list. Course Description

In this program, you will learn all aspects of the plumbing and pipe fitting trades as they apply to residential and commercial construction. All instruction is in accordance with the American Standard National Plumbing Code.

You will develop competency in soldering, brazing, welding, hydronics, and piping for plumbing, sewer, gas, heating, and water systems. Related instruction in mathematics and blueprint reading are included as well as a variety of laboratory and field projects to provide actual practice situations. Approved apprenticeships are also available for qualified students.
