Course Description

In the Computer Graphics program, students begin by building a strong foundation in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and QuarkXPress, the most predominantly used applications in the computer graphics field. From there, the class is introduced to web design through programs such as Macromedia Dreamweaver.

In the second year, students have the opportunity to explore 2D and 3D animation programs such as Macromedia Flash, and 3D Studio MAX. Students also have the chance to pursue independent projects in areas that interest them.

In addition to learning various applications, students also gain skills in areas such as layout, color theory, and typography.
