Welcome to the home page of the Putnam/Northern Westchester Regional Support Network website for the New York State Alternate Assessment (PNW NYSAA).

The PNW Regional Support Network is designed to complement the work of the PNW NYSAA training specialists whose mission is to support teachers and administrators in the administration of the New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA). The training network assists local school districts, PNW BOCES, and area approved private schools by providing professional development, administrative support, information, consultation services, and technical assistance to the community of educators responsible for administering or supervising the administration of NYSAA to students with severe cognitive disabilities.
