Tech Teacher Presents During National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month, so it was fitting that Early Childhood Education teacher Melissa Davis presented to Medical Assistant and Early Childhood Education students on the challenges families face when a child is diagnosed.

“Ms. Davis provided the students with a personal perspective on the experiences and challenges that families face when their child is diagnosed with cancer,” said Medical Assistant teacher Maria Pontbriand. “She also discussed the wide range of career paths for students who wish to work with children with cancer as well as the character traits that students should possess when working with children and their families.”
