New Visions Health Students Get Bone-Deep Experience

April 26, 2018

New Visions Health students got hands-on experience during a recent trip to the Orthopaedic Foundation in Manhattan. “The students simulated fixing a fractured ulna and radial bone with screws and plates,” said their CTE teacher Veronica Farlow. “It was a great opportunity for the students to problem-solve on a totally different level than they are use to doing. Our Thanks to Dr. Kevin Plancher and the entire staff at the Orthopaedic Foundation for allowing our students to have this great experience.”
