New Visions Health Open House Invites Students to Explore Medicine

November 09, 2018

High school juniors interested in the field of medicine can explore the New Visions Health program at The Tech Center at PNW BOCES during two open houses. Qualified students can earn college credits and get hands-on experience in medicine in the program.
The first open house will be held at New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor on November 13. The second will be at Northwell Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco on November 19. Both open houses are from 5 to 7 pm.
The program is open for enrollment to current juniors (who will be seniors next year). Students need to have a minimum GPA of 85, complete a writing sample, have recommendation letters from two teachers and be interviewed by the New Visions team to be accepted into the program.
