Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES is seeking a Summer Camp Lead Instructor.
Duties will include setting up and running engineering/STEAM activities for campers ages 10-12 from August 7-10, 2017 approximately between the hours of 8AM - 12:30PM. Activities will be planned and schedule set up. Training will be provided. Responsible to set up and clean up each day and pack up at the end of the week. Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES has an immediate opening for a full-time Help Desk Analyst. This position will oversee technology support activities including but not limited to coordinating/scheduling the work of Help Desk staff involved in the efficient/timely delivery of IT services. Provide expert IT support for issues related to hardware, software, and systems. Identify support metrics and regularly review findings with Help Desk team and overall IT team to determine process improvements, proactive measures to prevent recurring issues, and improve customer satisfaction. Assign service calls to help desk staff/vendors via a ticketing system, insuring that activities are properly prioritized, completed, and documented. May attempt to solution issues remotely if appropriate. Interact with users via site visits and meetings for deployment of new services, the technical education of users, and the completion of IT projects. Oversee the inventory of IT equipment, software, etc. Assist in preparation of technical documentation and conduct training for technical/non-technical agency user community. Enter Purchase Orders for related materials and update website as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must qualify through Westchester County Civil Service as a Help Desk Analyst: www.westchestergov.com.
A highly technically skilled individual with qualifications that include, but are not limited to, working knowledge of a variety of computer hardware, software, LAN/WAN, and relational databases. Experience in coordinating/leading the technical support function of an IT team. ITIL or project management knowledge/certification is highly desired.
