DATA ANALYSIS & PLANNING
The data analysis and planning on-site consultans will use collaborative inquity to work with districts as they analyze data to improve classroom instruction ans student achievement. Faciltation may include: identifying root causes related to student performance, developing school or district profiles, developing action plans to improve student performance and classroom instruction; facilitating team planning sessions or curriculum committees, and working with principals to better understand NYS assessment results.
EXECUTIVE COACHING
The Executive Coaching Service, coordinated by the Center for Educational Leadership and Curriculum Center, utilizes exemplary educational leaders trained in the coaching process to work with school administrators seeking growth in their professional lives. INTEGRATED SOCIAL STUDIES/ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS CURRICULUM
This is an innovative, web-based, integrated elementary social studies and English language arts curriculum development project. The content of the curriculum is based on teh Social Studies Resource Guide with Core Curriculum and uses an Understanding by Design (UBD) templated that includes targeted understandings, essential questions, evidence, knowledge, and skills needed, and teaching and learning experiences. NYS ASSESSMENT TRAINING
Training workshops for adminintering and scoring the elementary and intermediate levels of the New York State assessments in math, English language arts, social studies, and science are available.
UNDERSTANDING TEACHING I
Introductory and advanced Saphier trainign programs are designed to help teachers expand their repertoires and make informed instructional decisions.
