Putnam|Northern Westchester Regional Support Network

The PNW Regional Support Network is designed to complement the work of the PNW NYSAA training specialists whose mission is to support teachers and administrators in the administration of the New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA). The training network assists local school districts, PNW BOCES, and area approved private schools by providing professional development, administrative support, information, consultation services, and technical assistance to the community of educators responsible for administering or supervising the administration of NYSAA to students with severe cognitive disabilities.

Vocational and Education Services for Individuals with Disabilities 

The Acces-VR website contains information and answers to many of your questions about transition services and opportunities for students with disabilities. Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) starts with the presumption that all individuals with disabilities can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services and should have opportunities to work in jobs integrated within their communities.  Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors guide individuals through service programs they need to reach their employment goal.
