School Communications Service
In the publications area, community or staff newsletters, brochures,
flyers and posters can be prepared. Other projects include budget and
bond campaigns, communications workshops, preparation of press releases
for the media, special events, videos, research and Blue Ribbon School
applications.
This service will help school districts communicate more effectively
with their internal and external constituencies. A public information
specialist will work with the district to develop a plan to meet the specific
needs of that district. A wide variety of communications are available,
ranging from community newsletter to a total public relations program.
Workshops on various communications themes will be offered at BOCES
or on-site at local school districts. Topics include:
