Early Childhood Special Education Master's Program
The Early Childhood Special Education Masterís Degree Program program is now available through the Center for Educational Leadership at Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES. This Masterís program provides teachers who have initial certification the opportunity to extend their credentials to include professional certification in their initial area as well as certification as teacher of students with disabilities, birth through grade 2. The need for early interventionists, special education itinerant teachers, and early childhood/special education inclusive classroom teachers is expanding even as other teaching positions are being reduced. Being certified through the Bank Street Program will open up employment opportunities.
